Q: How do I schedule a collection for Bulky/Metal Wastes, Used Motor Oil and Automotive Batteries?
A: Please call 860-647-3200 and select option #2. The latest you can call in a collection is no later than 2:00 PM on the previous business day of your regular collection day. At this time, we cannot offer scheduling via email or the internet, but we are investigating this possibility.
Q: I have materials that don't qualify for curbside collection and received a Notice of Violation, how can I dispose of them?
A: Click here to review the rules for the Town's Bulky Waste Collection program. Materials that do not qualify can either be hauled directly to the Town's Landfill and be disposed off in accordance with those guidelines, or, a third party rubbish service can be contacted to determine you haul away options.
